Yonhap reports that singer and actor IU donated a total of KRW 200 million under ‘IUena’, a name combining IU with her fandom UAENA, on her debut anniversary.
The report says KRW 50 million each was given to the Korean Association of Social Welfare Centers, Seoul Rehabilitation Hospital, Heart-Heart Foundation and Habitat for Humanity Korea.
The donations will support young adults preparing for independence, rehabilitation for children and adolescents, women preparing for independent living and housing improvements for national merit recipients. Details should be checked against the Yonhap report and recipient organizations’ notices.
